Pheromone disabilities

Autism in general and Asperger in particular seem to have a strong component of not understanding or being able to read other peoples emotions and thinkings. This sounds a lot like a pheromone reading problem.

The existence of pheromones itself, the fact of their existence, implies that some people will have associated deficiencies. There will be two forms: one where people don't send pheromones out; another where they are unable to read other people's pheromones. Of course, they could be combined in the same person, but would not necessarily have to be.

Also, pheromone reading/sending may exist at multiple strengths. ie, one person may be able to send stronger messages than another one. The same applies to reading.

Note that there are undoubtedly multiple pheromones in existence and that a lack of reading or sending them may be combined in any number of ways.

An inability to read pheromones:

Implies a lack of empathy with other people. It could be expressed as reacting improperly to others actions/emotions. It could be expressed as a psychopathic inability to believe that others are "real".

An inability to send pheromones:

Implies that people would dislike their company. Such people could well be very lonely with feelings of abandonment. It is quite probable that such a child would suffer strong degrees of mis-care during childhood and would have multiple physchological difficulties in later life due to that fact.
